My sister and brother-in law have graciously allowed me to stay at their place during my time of transition. Please keep them in your prayers for they are such a blessing. The picture you see above you is what I walk into everyday. The items piled in the corner is what belongs to me. The baby swing on the right is my niece's. She crawls into the room ever so often to see what I'm up to. It is in this room that I walk into every day, and I am humbled and thankful to God. He is so faithful.
The recurring scripture that comes to my mind is Philippians 4:11-13. It says, "..for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength." The Holy Spirit always reminds me of this scripture and I get overjoyed. One day I the phrase, "it could be worse" kept coming to mind. Then I began to say, well, I'm happy because it could be worse. Immediately, I was convicted even saying that. What if it was worse, would I wallow in despair? No matter what the circumstances are, if I'm riding high in the clouds, or walking in the valley, my soul shall always be joyful because Jesus Christ in me!! Psalms 116:5-7- The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the unwary; when I was brought low, He saved me. Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. The Lord is beyond good to us no matter where we are at in life.
