This came after reflecting on Proverbs 13:19-21 and studying Psalms 36

It amazes me that God is so transparent with me
He goes beyond being vulnerable
Allowing lowly me to see the desires of His heart
It makes me joyful, but at the same time I weep.
I weep for those who have no understanding of God
I weep for those who take advantage of His grace
I weep for the sheep who go astray
I weep and my heart aches for the world,
but there is hope... Jesus Christ
the Hope of Glory in me
He's coming again and will put an end once and for all to sin.

This came after studying Romans 12, Hebrews 10, and Romans 6

Living with an open heaven over me
There's no limits to how deep I can go into intimacy with the Heavenly Father
There's direct access into the Holiest
That I may have direct access to His heart
O God you are so beautiful
I will praise You in the intimacy of love for You
Jesus Christ, You are Direct Connection to the Father's Heart
You are over the House of God
Thank You, Lord for this unprecedented entrance into the Holiest
I shall live here
While on this earth, I will live from here
My tongue won't be held down, for I will testify of Your intimacy
I shall know it
For You will take me deeper
God, You are beautiful!

This is a mixture of devotion and I guess poetry, I don't know what to call it. These are my thoughts after reflecting on Isaiah 11:12 and after hearing a prosperity gospel.

My inner man has been crying out for Your Word
But I take his yearning and unjustly give him small rations
It doesn't satisfy my inner man
Only making him hungry for more.
No longer will I feed him, but this pulpit preacher will.
Attending three days to a "revival" about faith
However the only thing ringing throughout the sanctuary is money
Prosperity, wealth, and success; I thought these messages were long dead.
There's nothing wrong with the three, but why have they been given more glory than Jesus?
I asked God to teach me something while I sat there
The only thing on my mind now, was my inner man
I've been feeding him small rations, while prosperity was on display, eating the finances from people's wallets.
Anger rises up.
How dare prosperity be preached with a hint of Jesus on the side. Who here is the God?
But how dare I sit and judge when I have played god by handing out the amount of food needed for my inner man to survive.
He almost died.
That last night revival did happen...inside of me.
Dictation shall no longer come from me, but My Heavenly Father who sits between the cherubim of glory!

Oh... Info Table

Forest Gump said, "life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." I must say this is so true about doing the info table. Info table is a consistent way within Chi Alpha to reach out to students and just let students know that we are present here on the campus. Just like a box of chocolates the variety of students you come across is an exciting experience.

Every time I'm headed to the info table, I ask God for divine connections and for those who are really searching for answers. However, I'm also engaging the students and wisely invading personal space. There has been outstanding instances that no seminary could ever teach to be prepared for. However, there has been numerous times when you meet someone and all you can say is, "God you are good." This is my favorite part about info table, I never know who I will meet, but I know that I'm going to meet someone and every last person should see the love of Jesus Christ pouring out of me.

Here are 2 quick testimonies of the past 2 days of what happened while at the info table. On January 13th 2015, I seen a guy eating by himself so I approached him and sat down. After introducing myself and making small talk, I told him to tell me about himself. The first thing he shared was that he's a brain cancer survivor. The young man's name is Eli. When he told me his story, I was super excited!! Then the words he said next was a blessing, Eli said, "would you like to have my fries?" Without hesitation I said yes! So then we really began to engage in conversation and Eli shared with me that he went to church when he was young, but stopped reading the Bible. What's beautiful about this story is that, the previous night, Eli prayed for the first time in a long time because he was desperate. He said he felt like he was not in control of his life. I told Eil, God has answered your prayers today. I then began sharing about Jesus Christ and His love that He has for Eli, (all the while sharing his lunch). Afterwards we exchanged phone numbers and we have been in contact since then, and Eli's coming to Chi Alpha. The text he sent me before the night was over was, "It's all about prayer."

The second testimony happened today January 14th 2015, I was getting ready to close the info table when this older lady from China approached me. She was interested in what the table was about. So after explaining every thing to her, she asked was anyone welcome to come who's not a Christian. I said, of course!"...Just when I thought she was walking away she picked up one of the New Testament Bibles from the table and she asked if she can take it. I said, "most definitely!" I thought that would be the end of our interaction, but she began to ask me questions. She asked me questions about the Old and New Testament, Prayer, and about how do I know if I hear from God. One thing I always say is, I don't know too much about nothing, but all I know is Jesus Christ. I can rely on Jesus Christ to help me especially when I don't know what to say. The Lord is true to His Word (Luke 12:11-12) the Holy Spirit gave me what to say and it was really good!! She took the Bible and wrote down my email address for future questions haha.

These are just 2 of the many things that one will experience at an info table, but I love it!!
